How many boxes do I need?

That depends on how much you’d like to store! The large boxes are useful for linen and duvets etc. and medium boxes are usually used for books and kitchenware. There’s no minimum order and are refunds available for the boxes you don’t use.

How can I pay for storage?

All payments are processed securely online through our website using PayPal.

Is there anything I can’t store?

For safety reasons, the main items you can’t store are flammable liquids, perishables, foods and combustible materials. A more extensive list can be found in our terms and conditions.

Do you ship boxes internationally?

Unfortunately, we only offer free collection and delivery to addresses within York. However, we have teamed up with the No.1 Student Shipping company Uni Baggage, who can ship your boxes wherever you like. Use the exclusive discount code: ‘KITKEEPER’ for 5% off.

Do you charge per week?

No, we charge a set price for the whole Summer and have a 2-week period before and after the holidays where we collect and deliver your boxes. We may be able to do deliveries outside of this time period, email us at info@kitkeeper.co.uk and we’ll do our best to accommodate for you.

All of our drivers are equipped with mobile phones to contact you if they need to on the day of collection and delivery.

How long will it take for my empty boxes to arrive?

The empty boxes that we provide usually take 2-3 days to arrive. If you need them sooner, contact us and we’ll do our best to expedite the delivery.

Do you charge for collection and delivery?

Nope! That’s all included in the price.

Do you collect from accommodation?

Yes, we collect and delivery anywhere within York and Heslington.
